‘Ellora cave’s’ is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE (locally known as Verul Leni) located in Verul village & approximately 30km from Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (Old Aurangabad) & 1km away from Shri Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga. It is a rock-cut cave and temple established in the 6th & 10th centuries CE, and has Hindu, Buddhist & Jain Architecture. There are around 100 caves, but 34 major caves (12 Buddhist caves, 17 Brahmanical caves and 5 Jain caves) are open to local people and tourists. It shows the variety of religious respect for Lord Shiva at the famous Kailash temple from ancient times. It is a highly rated site with a rating of 4.6 – 4.8 and 54,000+ reviews.
